With the number of computerised accounting software packages available for small businesses and individuals growing every day, selecting one that is right for you has become increasingly difficult. As accounting professionals, we are exposed to most programs through actual use, testing and research. We can help you choose and implement the system that best fits your needs.

System Design
The system design, whether manual or computerised is carried out in accordance with approved methodology.

We first evaluate the current control and procedures environment. We obtain a detailed understanding of the systems and procedures which currently exist. We observe the actual procedures as they are being carried out in practice and our investigations will cut across all the aspects of the organisation. Documents flow and control procedures are shown graphically on easily understandable flowcharts. Control weaknesses are identified and discussed with management for possible improvements.

After having reached internal consensus on the strengths and weaknesses of the current environment, we envision the new and improved environment in which weaknesses identified will have been removed and opportunities for improvement implemented. The final product of the exercise is transcribed into the procedures manual. In the interest of readability, extensive use of flowcharts will be made to show visually how the processes flow.
